This Language Wall and Interpretive Pillar at St. Clair West Park in Toronto aims to enhance the park's usability, foster community engagement, and celebrate Indigenous culture. The project incorporates a Language Wall featuring 13 local Indigenous languages, offering a warm welcome to urban Indigenous residents. The park includes an Indigenous gathering space designed for storytelling, drum circles, and other cultural events. It was co-designed with local Indigenous community partners, Na-Me-Res and Sagatay, ensuring it serves as a responsive space for community needs.
