Red Crow Community Learning Center

Red Crow Community Learning Center is designed as an innovative research and community facility – a convergence of archives, a library, a keeping house for artifacts, classrooms, administrative space and a theatre. The facility offers collaborative workrooms, film and audio labs, multimedia labs, consultation space, private study spaces and a children’s learning area. A state of the art science lab provides opportunities for high-level research, while classrooms for cultural activities will address the growing demand for cultural studies. Engagement with local Elders, community leaders, youth and community cultural advisors was undertaken in order to connect to local meaning in the facility. The facility is aimed to achieve LEED Gold status.
