Rolando Torres, a licensed architect from the Philippines. His role at TAWAW includes leading the design and production for a variety of culturally driven projects, including a trauma-informed healing residence in Oregon. He brings more than a decade of work experience, including residential, commercial and hospitality projects, and has experience in all phases of projects from design to construction. He is passionate about all forms of art, particularly drawn to architectural inspiration from organic shapes and sustainable materials. He was drawn to TAWAW for its commitment to sustainable design practices and its dedication to creating spaces that promote healing and wellness. With international experience, having lived in the Philippines and various cities in the USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Arizona, Rolando brings a broad portfolio of cultural architecture to the TAWAW team.
Rolando graduated from MAPUA University in 2012. When not working, he spends his time making short films, longboarding, and creative writing.
