Chrystal Tabobangdung is a member of the Wasauksing First Nation, a proud Anishnabe of the Ojibway tribe, and a member of the Beaver clan. Her traditional name is Mindwekamigookwe, which translates into The beautiful/good sound the earth makes. Chrystal is. Chrystal brings to the firm, expertise in cultural competency and training, as well as a passion for architecture. Her role at TAWAW includes cultural research as well as engagement planning and facilitation. Her current projects include architectural and landscape developments in Ontario and Saskatchewan, including working on an Indigenization of a Saskatchewan campus, helping to ensure worldviews, lifeways and identity are meaningfully captured.
Crystal is a graduate from the University of British Columbia (First Nations Studies) and holds an Associate Arts Degree in Indigenous Government Studies from The Institute of Indigenous Government.
