Lambton College Indigenous Outdoor Gathering Space
(Under Construction)
This gathering space offers a meaningful place for Indigenous students, staff, and visitors to connect with culture and community on campus. Set in a forested area, the pavilion is inspired by traditional wigwam forms and includes a central fire, built-in seating, and space for ceremony, storytelling, and cultural teachings. The design integrates biophilic principles and honors the local Indigenous context, incorporating elements such as the Seven Grandfather Teachings, clan systems, and the Medicine Wheel through deep community engagement.
